It’s a reunion concert 25 years in the making and fans of Los Bukis have plenty to celebrate.
The iconic Latin music superstars, led by Marco Antonio Solis, announced their reunion “tour” — a limited concert series, “Una Historia Cantada,” with shows scheduled at SoFi stadium in Los Angeles (Aug. 27), AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas (Sept. 15), and on Sept. 4 at Chicago’s Soldier Field.
Citi cardmembers have access to a special ticket pre-sale starting at 10 a.m. June 15; details at www.citientertainment.com.
Tickets will go on sale to the general public starting at 10 a.m. June 18 at Livenation.com.
The band’s reunion announcement seemed imminent following a May 9 livestream by the singer-songwriter-producer Solis who presented Los Bukis as surprise guests.
The band was formed in 1976, and gained world-wide attention with their first single “Falso Amor” (“False love”). Their 1987 album “Me Volvi A Acordar De Ti” sold more than one million copies. The band to date, boasts 16 studio albums, including their final studio release, “Por Amor a Mi Pueblo” (”For Love of My Town”) in 1995. They officially went their separate ways a year later.
