Vehicle Fire Reported on I-80, Parts of Highway Remain Closed

Parts of Interstate 80 near Tinley Park are closed due to a vehicle fire near mile marker 76.

The incident reportedly involves a semitruck that may have been hauling cooking oil.

Closures between La Grange Road and Harlem Avenue started around 12:51 p.m. There is currently solid traffic back to Parker Road.
