A heavy police presence was reported in the parking lot of a busy shopping area in Chicago Tuesday afternoon, photos and video showed.
Photos posted to social media showed the large police presence, which also included an ambulance, near Lake Meadows Shopping Center at the intersection of 33rd Place and South Rhodes Avenue. A Jewel-Osco grocery store could be seen in the background.
Chicago Police did not provide further details.
NBC Chicago is headed to the scene.
