A 15-year-old boy was critically wounded in a shooting Thursday afternoon in Lawndale on the West Side.
Paramedics found the teen shortly before 2 p.m. near Roosevelt Road and Keeler Avenue, according to Chicago Fire Department spokesman Larry Merritt.
He was taken to Stroger Hospital in “extremely critical condition,” Merritt said.
A Chicago police spokesman did not immediately have details about the shooting.
