Chicago fire officials say at least four people were shot in the city’s Garfield Park neighborhood on Sunday, including a 7-year-old boy.
According to authorities, the shooting occurred in the first block of South Whipple Sunday afternoon.
At least three people were taken to area hospitals, including a 7-year-old boy. He was transported in red (serious-to-critical) condition, fire officials said.
Two other men were taken to area hospitals in red condition, while a fourth was in grave condition at another hospital, authorities said.
