- Trump is co-hosting an AI summit today at the White House with the bipartisan Hill and Valley Forum and the All-In Podcast, a business and technology show hosted by four tech investors and entrepreneurs who include Trump’s AI czar, David Sacks.
- Trump also said on Truth Social that his administration reached a deal with Japan, one of the largest U.S. trading partners, to lower its tariff rate to 15% as part of a sweeping trade agreement.
- The House moved to start its summer recess a day early amid the fight on Capitol Hill over the release of the government’s files on Epstein. It comes the same day that the House Oversight Committee said it will subpoena Epstein accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell.
