Here’s a look at which grocery stores and pharmacies in the Chicago area are open on Thanksgiving for 2025, and which ones are closed.
Open
- Angelo Caputo’s Fresh Market: 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Cermak Fresh Market: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- CVS: Open, though some stores and pharmacies may have reduced hours. Customers should check their local store
- Dollar General: Stores in most states will be open, hours may vary by location
- Jewel-Osco: Most stores open 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Kroger: Holiday hours vary. Stores that are open will be until 4 p.m. Most pharmacies closed
