The Chicago Bears have announced second-year wide receiver Rome Odunze aggravated his foot injury prior to Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns.
As a result, Odunze will not suit up for the Bears on Sunday, missing his second consecutive game due to the ailment.
It’s also the second straight week the Bears have had a player suffer a pregame injury during warmups, as defensive back Kyler Gordon suffered an injury before the game against Green Bay.
Odunze has had a spectacular second season with the Bears, with 44 catches for 661 yards and six touchdowns on the year in 12 games.
Unfortunately for the Bears, this will mark the second straight game he’s missed after he didn’t suit up against the Green Bay Packers a week ago at Lambeau Field.
The Bears and Brown will square off beginning at noon, with the game airing on Fox.
