A 26-year-old man is in critical condition after he was shot in Chicago’s Rogers Park neighborhood Sunday.
According to Chicago police, the man was standing in the 700 block of West Albion Avenue at approximately 5:50 a.m. when gunfire rang out from an unknown direction.
The victim was struck in the throat, and he was rushed to an area hospital, where he was listed in critical condition, police said.
No suspects are in custody, and Area Three detectives are investigating the circumstances of the shooting.
