Six Flags Great America has launched a new kids pass as the busy summer season at the popular amusement park kicks off.
The new “Free Pre-K Pass” allows kids between 3 and 5-years-old free admission for the entire 2026 summer season, a release announcing the news said. According to the release, the limited-time pass can be used at 22 parks nationwide, including Cedar Point, Great America and Hurricane Harbor.
“At a time when families are watching their budgets very closely, the Pre‑K Pass provides real value while helping create a season full of fun experiences kids and parents will remember for years,” chief commercial officer for Six Flags Christian Dieckmann said in the release.
The pass is available starting Thursday through May 31, the release said. Families can secure the children’s pass if they have a valid 2026 Silver, Gold or Prestige Season Pass or Membership, officials said. It is not sold separately.
The pass must be registered online by May 31. It can be activated at the park entrance on any regular operating day through May 31.
A valid birth certificate or passport showing the child’s age is required.
According to officials, there is limit of two Pre-K passes for valid membership.

Six Flags Great America opens for the season Saturday, April 25. Single day tickets start at $45, and kids under two are free.
