Kraft is capitalizing on the rising fascination of ranch among international travelers visiting the United States for the World Cup.
Amid the ranch craze, Kraft announced it’s working on creating a TSA-compliant version of ranch, which it described as a “travel-friendly way to bring the taste of America home.” The company posted a partially AI-generated photo on social media showing a clear TSA-approved quart-size bag containing around 14 packets of ranch alongside a ranch bottle-shaped luggage tag.
Kraft said it’s working on a real version and urged fans to stay tuned.
International visitors in the U.S. for the World Cup have been fascinated by some aspects of American culture, and well, the love of ranch ranks near the top. The newfound obsession even prompted an alert from the Transportation Security Administration, with the agency informing travelers the condiment counts as a liquid.
“If you’re visiting for a very large sporting event & you happen to discover RANCH while you’re here… pls pack it in your CHECKED BAG on the way home. Thank you,” the TSA said in a social media post earlier this week.
Travelers flying within the U.S. are encouraged to keep carry-on sauces to 3.4 ounces or less and place any larger containers inside checked bags.
