At least four people were taken to area hospitals after a shooting in the North Austin neighborhood Sunday morning.
According to Chicago police, the individuals were standing in the 1400 block of North Leclaire Avenue at approximately 8:22 a.m. Sunday when a white sedan approached the group.
An individual inside of that vehicle then opened fire, striking at least three people.
A 33-year-old woman was shot in the right knee and left ankle, and was transported to an area hospital in fair condition, police said.
A 36-year-old man was shot in both legs and the right foot, and was also listed in fair condition. A 43-year-old man was shot multiple times in the legs, and was in fair condition at an area hospital.
Chicago police say a 30-year-old woman was not shot, but suffered injuries to her feet as she fled the gunfire.
No suspects are in custody, and a search is underway for a suspect in the shooting.
