Chicago police have released numbers on arrests and hospitalizations during this year’s Lollapalooza in Grant Park.
According to preliminary data released Monday, there were a total of 10 arrests during the four-day festival, with zero reported on the final day Sunday.
In addition, a total of 67 concertgoers were transported to area hospitals via ambulance, though the department did not provide details on what led to those hospitalizations.
Despite the festival being impacted by inclement weather, with heavy rain leading to a lengthy delay of gates opening on Saturday and the grassy surfaces within Grant Park becoming water-logged and muddy for the second half of the festival, there were only three arrests made on Saturday and zero on Sunday, according to CPD data.
The 10 arrests during the festival were down from the 12 last year but in line with the trend of recent years, as nine arrests were reported in 2024 and 14 in 2023, according to finalized CPD data.
Police also reported zero citations issued during the festival, but numbers are still being finalized according to officials.
